BlackBerry Outage December 22: Blackberry users face e-mail outage Tuesday evening, less than a week after previous outage

New YorkBlackberry users struggle with e-mail outage

Users of Research In Motion’s Blackberry smart phones struggled with an e-mail outage Tuesday evening.

Phone calling and texting services appeared to be functional, but users in North America were unable to send or receive e-mail messages. Would-be users tweeted their frustration on social networking site Twitter. Some said they also could not connect to the Internet.

Waterloo, Ontario-based Research in Motion Ltd. didn’t immediately return calls seeking comment.

It marks the second time in less than a week that BlackBerry users in North America have had to deal with e-mail outages on their Blackberry devices. Research In Motion said last Thursday that technicians had isolated and resolved the issue and were investigating the cause. RIM didn’t say how many users were affected or how long that outage lasted.

Health Care Reform Bill

December 22nd, 2009

It’s a hot topic in US. Yes health care reform bill. Everybody care about health. Every one care about the budget government spend on that field. It’s obviously that this health care reform bill has been a hot news nowadays. I’m sure you are also the one who care about your health and how the Obama’s government solve this problem. Here’s an article I got from CNN related to health care reform bill. May it be a good information for you. Happy reading.

House passes health care reform bill

Washington (CNN) — The House of Representatives on Saturday night passed a sweeping health care bill by a vote of 220-215.

With the passage of H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act, proponents of health care reform took an important step forward, but turning the bill into law remains uncertain.

It’s unclear when the Senate will vote on a version of the health care legislation debated in that chamber. If the Senate passes its bill, the House and Senate bills would have to be reconciled into one document and voted on again.

The House Democrats needed 218 votes to ensure passage of the bill. On Saturday, it appeared the vote would come down to the wire, as the intentions of some conservative Democrats remained unknown.

In the final tally, 219 Democrats voted for the legislation, and 39 voted against it.

Rep. Joe Cao (R-Louisiana) was the only Republican who voted in favor of the bill.

Murphy Brittany was ill days before death

December 21st, 2009

Again, it’s all about Brittany Murphy. As we know that she past away yesterday with a very surprising news. Everybody shock to hear that bad news of Brittany Murphy’s death. Guys here I got an article on this topic. I got the article from omg. Hope it will be a good perception of you after reading this news. God bless all of us.

Family: Brittany Murphy was ill days before death

LOS ANGELES – Brittany Murphy was ill with flulike symptoms in the days before her death and prescription medications were taken from her home, the Los Angeles coroner’s office said Monday.

The 32-year-old star of films such as “Clueless” and “8 Mile” died Sunday morning after collapsing at her Hollywood Hills home. Paramedics tried to revive her, but she was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Police said there was no evidence of foul play.

Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said they will conduct an autopsy Monday to try to determine what killed the actress, and said her death appeared to be from natural causes. He said the illness, reported to officials by her family, could have contributed to her death, but it will be weeks before a final determination is made.

Toxicology tests will be performed, and officials will contact her personal physician to get a better sense of Murphy’s medical history, Winter said.

Neighbor Clare Staples said she saw firefighters working to resuscitate the actress Sunday morning. She said Murphy was on a stretcher.

Healthcare reform bill shoots wide of Obama’s goal on competition

December 21st, 2009

Googling for healthcare reform, I found this interesting article. It’s from ft.com. The article itself was written by Anna Fifield and was published on December 21 2009 02:00. Actually I don’t know much about this topic of healthcare reform and just want to know the trend on google, what are people looking for, especially in US. Well guys, if you are interested with this article, please feel free to read it, or go to the main source for more detail. Ok, here is part of the article.

The healthcare reform bill that will go to the vote on the US Senate floor this week falls well short of Barack Obama’s original vision for healthcare reform.

As the president took office at the beginning of this year, he laid out a plan for reform that would include a robust “public option” for a nationwide government-backed plan that would inject a bolt of competition into the inefficient medical insurance market.

Instead, he is set next month to sign into law a bill that, while dramatically expanding healthcare insurance coverage, will largely leave insurance in the hands of private companies.

Still, Mr Obama has been at pains over the last week to stress that his administration is nevertheless on the “precipice” of improving the daily lives of millions of Americans.

“With today’s developments it now appears that the American people will have the vote they deserve on genuine reform that offers security to those who have health insurance and affordable options to those who do not,” the president said on Saturday after Harry Reid, the majority leader in the Senate, unveiled a bill that can attract the 60 votes needed to pass the upper chamber.
